Last summer, legislation was developed to ban unnecessary engine idling on school properties throughout the Commonwealth. The legislation – Senate Bill 2628, "An Act To Improve School Campus Air Quality" – passed by unanimous vote in the Senate on April 10. It is now awaiting action in the House Ways and Means Committee.
