Yet, its heavy burden on the economy of Alaska in terms of absenteeism, unnecessary emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and deaths is largely preventable. Please email Governor Palin, urging her support of the $350,000 investment the Alaska Legislature made in the FY09 Capital Budget. This funding will go to support ALAA programs like Champ Camp and Limitless Adventures, the only summer camps in Alaska for youth with asthma.
