Reel Advocacy
Show the federal government that you want less smog where you live. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has to decide how much ozone air pollution—smog—is officially safe to breathe. Scientists agree that the level—called the national air quality standard—needs to be much, much lower to protect us than we thought before. Whatever level EPA sets becomes the maximum amount of pollution governments have to clean out of the air.
Send a video message to the EPA to show them the air pollution you see. Tell EPA that they need to tighten that ozone standard way down to force polluters to clean up. EPA must listen to comments from the public before making their decision—so speak up now with your camera!
